This one makes two different waffles from the same plate. Pour a small amount of batter into the centre and it presses a Stormtrooper helmet; cover the whole plate and it turns out a full 7-inch round waffle with the helmet in the middle. A regulated thermostat and a weighted lid hold heat evenly across the surface, so the result is repeatable whether the household likes waffles brown and crisp or tender and golden, and dual indicator lights handle the timing — one confirms the plates are up to temperature, the other that the waffle is done. It is not restricted to batter, either: eggs, brownie mix, cake batter and quesadillas all cook on the same plates, and the weighted lid makes a serviceable sandwich press. Non-stick and wipe-clean. UL listed for 120 V power in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
