This 36" x 8" floating shelf is cut from reclaimed wood at a full 2" thickness and ships as a complete kit, so there is nothing to source separately: the board arrives pre-drilled, with concealed "Phantom" brackets and plastic drywall anchors in the box. The brackets slide into the back of the shelf and disappear behind it, giving the clean floating line with no visible supports and no hardware breaking up the wall. Installation is a short job - mark, anchor, fix the brackets, slide the board on. The 2" thickness gives the shelf enough presence to hold its own above a bed, sofa, desk or kitchen counter, and the reclaimed stock is finished in Honey with the original grain and character marks left showing.
