Finished in raspberry, the Sharp EL760RBPK is a palm-sized calculator meant to live in a bag, a drawer or a coat pocket and come out for a quick figure. The body is small but the display is not: an XL 8-digit readout, inclined so it can be read while the calculator lies flat on a desk rather than held up to the eye. Round keys sit well apart under the thumb, which matters far more on a compact body than on a full desktop layout. A tax key applies a stored rate, easy constant calculation repeats an operation without re-entering it, and a calculation status display shows what the calculator is currently doing.
