Metallic watercolour behaves differently from the ordinary kind: laid thin it stays transparent, and the shimmer builds only as layers go over each other, so the same 12 colours give a soft gradient or a far stronger glint depending on how many passes go down. The set comes with its own water brush, a sponge for wiping the brush between colours, and a lid that opens flat as a mixing tray.
- 12 metallic colours for soft, transparent gradients that can be layered for a more intense effect
- Movable paint pans that lift out and swap
- Water brush in size M included
- Sponge to sweep paint off the brush
- Lid opens flat as a mixing tray
- Ring grip
- STAEDTLER model 888M M12

| Source note | STAEDTLER does not publish this listing's article, 888M M12A6, on any of its seven regional sites. It does publish the same set as article 888M M12-C, on the international, UK, Australian and South African sites, and that page is the source of the description above. The two differ only in the regional pack code: the published article carries EAN 4007817167977 and this listing carries the North American UPC 031901958312, so the barcodes do not match and the article numbers do. The Staples.ca listing for this listing's own barcode (item 3055660, model 888MM12A6) independently states the same 12 metallic pans, water brush and mixing lid. |
