Two quarts is the size most slow-cooker recipes actually need. The Uncanny Brands Avengers Kawaii Slow Cooker is built for dinner for two, a week of lunches, or the dish you carry to somebody else's table — meatballs, chili, cheese dip, a small stew — rather than the eight-quart batch that ends up half-eaten. The stoneware insert lifts out, so the pot goes from the counter to the table without decanting, and it cleans up in the dishwasher rather than at the sink. Heat and duration adjust for whatever is in it. The aluminium housing carries a full-colour wrap of the Avengers drawn in a kawaii style, which makes it one of the few appliances worth leaving on the counter. ETL certified and UL listed for 120 V power in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
