The Noris® 550 01/02 is the step up from a basic school compass: a centre wheel sets the radius quickly and holds it, rather than drifting mid-circle the way a friction hinge does. Both legs are hinged so the point and lead stay perpendicular to the paper at any opening. It draws to 260 mm across, or 395 mm with the extension bar supplied, and comes cased with a lead box and pen adaptor.
