The STAEDTLER® 175 is the workhorse coloured pencil — classic hexagonal barrel, nothing clever about it, and that is the point. It sharpens cleanly in any standard sharpener rather than needing a special one, which matters when a class or a household is getting through them. This is the cardboard box of 24 colours. The wider range runs to 72 colours, so a set can be extended rather than replaced. Conforms to EN 71, the European toy safety standard.
