The Style "C" shelf bracket from Entrepot La Grange is a black metal support sold one at a time, so you buy exactly as many as a shelf run needs rather than a fixed pair. The "C" profile takes the load from underneath and presents a clean right-angled face, and the black finish is meant to be seen - it reads as deliberate industrial hardware against reclaimed wood, painted drywall or exposed brick rather than as something to hide. Each bracket comes with its own black mounting screws and Gyp caps, so a drywall installation needs nothing further from the hardware store. This one is 10" deep, sized for a shelf of roughly the same depth; the same bracket is offered in 6", 8" and 10" so a run of mixed shelf depths can still share a single look.
