The STAEDTLER® 963 is a stainless steel straight edge with a cork back — and the cork is the whole point. It lifts the metal edge clear of the paper so ink cannot bleed under it, and it grips rather than skating when you press down to cut or draw. Graduated in both inches and millimetres on the same rule, so a drawing set in one system can be checked in the other. 18 in / 450 mm.
