The STAEDTLER® 511 is a tub sharpener: the same 23° metal insert as the bare 510 10, mounted in a container that catches the shavings. That is the whole argument for it — you sharpen over a desk, a drawing or a bag without emptying graphite into any of them. A hinged cover stops the shavings spilling and the lid has a safety lock so it does not open in transit. Takes standard blacklead pencils up to 8.2 mm. Supplied on a blistercard.
