Genuine SHARP washable active carbon deodorizing filter for the KC850U Plasmacluster® air purifier and humidifier, and for the KCC100U. It sits between the micron mesh pre-filter and the True HEPA filter and absorbs many of the common household odours a particle filter cannot hold — cooking, smoke, pets and general staleness. Because the media is washable, routine rinsing restores much of its capacity, and SHARP rates the filter for up to five years after opening depending on the environment before replacement is needed. Fitting the original part keeps airflow through the stack correct and protects the True HEPA filter behind it from loading early. Supplied as a single filter — the True HEPA filter (FZC100HFU) and humidifying filter (FZC100MFU) are separate parts.
