SHARP’s True HEPA media captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns from the air that passes through it — pollen, dust, pet dander, smoke and mould among them — while the bonded carbon layer absorbs the common household odours a particle filter cannot hold. Because both stages are combined, one part replaces the whole filter service on this model. A loaded HEPA filter restricts airflow and cannot be washed clean, so replace it rather than attempting to clean it. Supplied as a single filter.
