The PGI-72CO Chroma Optimizer is the clear coat in Canon's ten-ink PGI-72 set for the PIXMA PRO-10 and PRO-10S. Rather than adding colour, it is laid over the print to level the surface across inked and uninked areas, so gloss reads evenly and dense dark passages do not bronze. It installs in its own tank alongside the nine colours and is replaced independently, so nothing else is discarded when it runs out.
