The STAEDTLER® 512 07 is a double-hole tub sharpener, and the two holes do genuinely different jobs: standard pencils up to 8.2 mm sharpen at 23° for a long, accurate point, while thick and coloured pencils up to 10.2 mm sharpen at 30° for a stubbier point that will not snap under a soft lead. The oblong container catches the shavings behind a hinged flip top, and a safety lock on the lid stops it opening in a bag.
