The Mars® 529 erasing shield is a thin stainless steel plate with a range of cut-out apertures, and it turns erasing into a precise operation. You lay it over the drawing, expose only the stroke you want gone through an aperture that fits it, and rub — everything else is protected by the metal. The matte finish keeps it from throwing light back at you across a drawing board. Supplied on a blistercard, one shield per card.
