The PowerShot V1 is a video-first compact built for creators who want one camera that does everything. Its newly designed 1.4-type CMOS sensor — considerably larger than a typical compact's — captures 22.3-megapixel stills and 18.7-megapixel video with shallower depth of field, better light performance and wider dynamic range. The built-in 16-50mm equivalent zoom means no lens changes, and a 3-stop ND filter is on hand for bright conditions. A cooling fan vents heat out the side, allowing unlimited continuous recording at 4K 60p. Canon Log 3 gives you 10-bit colour and wide dynamic range for grading, while Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with eye detection keeps subjects locked in. Lens optical IS, Movie Digital IS and Subject Tracking IS combine for steady handheld footage.
