Used dry it lays down soft, muted natural colours with a grey cast; add water and the same marks deepen into rich, living colour that still stays restrained rather than turning candy-bright. That makes one pencil enough for both the sketch and the finish. This is the metal case of 12 colours. Wood is PEFC-certified.
